I have a black one coming for my blackout build that I will probably get around to sometime in the next 25 years.

All of my hobby forums keep costing me money

Listen guys, if you have contact with Maier on the headlight shells...Thank them for running them and PUSH them to continue to create needed items, 1986 200X shells could be next??? Voice your opinion upon orders as many of us have more than one machine. If the 250R and 350x shells are selling off the shelves, they only want a direction from the consumers to what's the next seller. I'm off topic, but a push from buyers could prompt a New item.

We do have a member making 200X shells already, but I cannot speak for him about how he'd feel if Maier started making them as well.

I will say this, I have a Shep shell sitting on my shelf right now, and it's definitely stronger than anything Maier is going to put out. The quality is very high. I could probably put it face up on the ground and stand on it.

I'm looking forward to seeing someone repop SX shells, regardless of who does it.

Thanks Fabio, but yes there would be no problem here if maier made the 86/87 200x or someday the 250sx shell.
I could never compete with them, there system probably pumps out im guessing a couple hundred a day?(guessing)
I just really want to see the back side of the new 350x shells, mounting area for straps just to see how they did it.
More of a hobby, but hopefully sell some in the very near future....
Ok its a really nice day here in mass I gotta get my azz outside and do some “prepping” for trikefest!!! Its coming fast

Not taking away from Shep, I'm just suggesting the idea to inform them of desired items. I was under the impression Shep is in the final stage of profecting the 200x shells. If I missed the sale post for the shells post up a link.

No sale post yet you’ll know when there is, you’ve all been on this ride with me on making them (if that makes sense).

Got mine today! Looks pretty good. Came with some hardware. I believe they provided bolts and clip nuts to replace the plastic pins that hold straps to bezel. Not going to open package just yet. No need to at the moment.

They're strong as HELL, Shep's just working on his colors...

Well, with used 350X headlights bringing in about 500$, I should probably sell my NOS HL and ALL my spare headlights ASAP!!

I saw someone pay 27$ BIN for ONE HEADLIGHT STRAP!! I guess I read someones mind as I just made up a dozen headlight guards this week!!

Yes of course, I think it's definitely a good idea. I should have said that in my last post.

Got mine today also. I bought it just to see what the quality was like. Opened it to get a better look at the back side and I also I wanted to peel the Maier decal off the top so it does not leave a mark later on. They glued a piece of ABS plastic in there for the top mounting points. It's on there pretty good and it also makes it more stiff which is nice. Overall quality is very nice.
