Only the plastic from a 250X/300EX will fit properly. You can get either OEM stuff ($$$), Fullbore's terrific looking aftermarket set ($$) or go with either race cut or stock cut Maiers ($).

Ive seen a 300ex with 400ex plastic on it,I think it was in dirtwheels.But I dont know how good it would fit on.

yes.. 250x plastics will fit on a 300ex

once a few months back I seen a 250X with 660 yamaha plastic on it. From a distance it looked really nice but up close you could tell, it said that it still needed to be finished. I wish I would have saved that picture if done right it would have looked really nice. lm sure that i would have taken a lot of custom work to make it fit.
