It's your money and you bought something you wanted with your money. Unless it's a giant piece of crap that needs alot of work, i wouldn't worry about it unless you bought to flip it for a profit

Looks good to me these bikes are getting harder and harder to find especially one that doesn't look like it been molested and is mostly original. clean it up paint some things and get a new seat cover and ride it like ya stole it.
Looks like a fair deal to me.

The over pay question, I completely understand. I gave $1900 for my 85.5 Tri-Z. Way more than it's actually worth but trying to find one isn't easy and I've always liked the Black/Red Z.

Very clean! With a little engine work your "fooler" will be just as fast as any 85-86
