I'm all for it!! If it helps MrsMosh have the ability to bring on hands, possibly improve her production area with some well deserved space. Then when things fall into place on down time print Art, on her screen printing vision. No lack of hussel in either of you, that's for sure. Profits aren't just for pocket sake, not every customer that walks in is a friend, but leaves with the respect as one. If you give away a bone to a hungry stray dog outta sympathy, 2 things are true: the dog will return for another free bone; and it has teeth and you never know it might bite even though you showed compassion.
This started as an unknown tallent from a very talented hands on woman who is beyond a growth spurt. The jump is itself not without risk, is and agreed over due. I understand in many ways by keeping it small the adage it will keep costs down. It has to a point where your ready to throw the towel it's almost too much. I hope the increase allows her to free up time to Market her BRAND. Thus bringing on more hands and associated vendors and manufactures to allow reproduction products of your own, that simplify your success(seat pans/foam).

Just think 1day ship on stocked inventory 250R full reproduction seats....ready to sell. Then 350X or kits for the do it yourlogger way kinda guys that can't wait or feel they can do just a good a job. The end result is your justified in your need to grow and it takes money...just set the bar. Most of us with businesses understand, you can only pound so many nails in a day by yourself.

Yeah... I’ve done business with her in the past and it was a pleasant timely experience. I’m just un-sure why if the business is in such high demand that it takes 6 months to turn around a seat that she hasnt went full time with it. You make it sound like people beg her to do their seats. If that’s the case she could go big time with it. Also you can’t give me this about it taking to much time to return a phone call, answer a PM or return an email. I wrote this entire reply while on the toilet. There is always time for good business communication no matter how large or small the business.

What make you think it's part time? That's more slant from your end.

As a Community we can only hope changes allow the ability to keep getting product. We also hope the changes made allows everyone involved an ability to reach further goals to ad to a stronger future.

^^Sorry my Glammy siphon app needs up dated. Your somehow relating your Hindi call, and your loneliness too the fact your communications skills suck. I do get your either Gay or Straight and convincing the caller you can't have it both ways, is a clear indication your seat isn't covered. Should you need a Rainbow style Pink custom one made....Don't be afraid to fly your own colors no ones gonna give you Drama over it.

    Well.

This is an old thread, but as a new owner of an old trike, I need the seat recovered with an appropriate cover. As I search high and low, I keep coming back to Cosmic Quads, and lately, this thread- it is clear to be they (she) does the best work. My trike is far from perfect, but I do want the look and feel of an original, rather than a hot-rodded trike. I don't need any more than the stock engine can give. I don't need the exhaust louder etc. I stated out in the 80's on a 70 and always wanted a bigger one as I outgrew my 70, and it finally happened. It took a while.

I also used to make custom guitars, so I understand from that perspective as well. I want to make this as painless as possible for us both.

All that said: is/will cosmic quads take on more work, now seven years later? I think I may be one of those who reached out via Facebook recently, as I did not have any other means of contact. If there is an email to use, I'm happy to do that, or call- whatever is best.

I am interested and can schedule sending the seat for a time that works best on that end. The seat is covered, and I don't believe any studs are broken or foam repair is needed (but I'm unsure on the foam), so maybe a PM here with direct contact info is best?

    Thanks in advance.

If she isn’t , I hope she is , and you need want a replica seat and or need foam call high flite / ceet. They are the same company and they do great work. For an extra 10$ or so they will make you a replica cover with out there logos on it. I have them on both my atcs and my 400ex and enduro. I did a desert foam on my 350x and while I still don’t love the look I love the feel. All other bikes I went with standard medium foam and the feel great. Mines not a restoration bit a resto mod.

Tammy is still around and still doing seats. She just restored an 85 ATC200S seat for me a few months ago using new standard foam from Hi-Flite, see attachment. Their contact info is also in an attached snip, this was taken directly from their Facebook page:

I have copied and printed that picture; I'll give a call probably next week.

Do you know what time of year is best for her? That was discussed earlier in this thread, and may have changed, and I want to be accommodating, not a PITA to her.

You will need to contact them during normal business hours to discuss current turnaround times. She does excellent work and has restored several seats for me in years past so she usually has a backlog. As long as you're flexible and not expecting an overnight turnaround, I'm sure she'll be happy to work with you.

I'm pretty flexible and willing to work with what is best for her.

I know my mounted engine is a smoker, and I confirmed the '85 jug and piston are in perfect usable condition, so worst case that jug and piston go into the '86 engine. But once I inspect the 86 parts, I may find only rings are needed. But I'll do valve seals and lap the valves (at least) at the same time; replace the valves if I have to. I learned here (perhaps from you?) the '86 head has better oiling and these are the types of technical improvements that drive me to the latest versions. Also planning to swap the left main case due to chain rash... that could become a bigger project depending on bearing condition and whatever other surprises I find in there etc.

But the moral of the story is once I pull the motor, it isn't getting ridden for a while, so I'll have a window for her of (unfortunately) a couple months to do that eight-hour job.
