    working on water cooled R's

    is it harder to work on them then ari cooled. also are they more reliable? :-D

    they are a bit harder to work on due to the water pump but over all not realy that much harder.... they in my opinion do last longer then the air cooled version due to them running cooler.... and they are alot more powerful.... also there are alot more parts available for them and they handle/look alot better then the older air cooled Rs THIS IS MY OPINION
    looking for a TRI-Z 250 to restore at the moment

    they arent neccesarily harder but you have a cooling system to maintain. it is just more parts. i personally have had better dependability out of the air cooled models. it just seems like i could not kill them, they just kept on ticken. but my 85 i have not had much trouble with. it has just been maintence problems(the previous owner did not take care of it mechanically)
