Yup, I have ordered a few parts from Yamaha recently that were not superseded but they were not the same as original and I could not use them.

.
If you need discontinued NOS parts and can not find them anywhere, CMSNL has the biggest inventory of them by far.

I've had the same experience. Kind of a bummer when you pay $5.00 + shipping for one funny looking fastener expecting it to match the rest of your otherwise good hardware and end up with something you could have bought at the local hardware store for $0.25 that looks nothing like your OEM parts.![]()
It sucks to get old
Oh yeah, they are as legit as it gets, and one of the best kept secrets of NOS parts buyers. I have given this info to a few people here that actually bought parts from them. I think one of those parts was an NOS clutch cable for a 250r and it was the last one CMSNL had, and the guy was ecstatic that he got it.
They have 120,000 sq ft of space and have several concourse restored rare motorcycles in their lobby. I have a few friends in Holland and they are very familiar with the place. They are also pretty up to date on their inventory, meaning that if their site says they have a part, or have X amount left, it is probably correct.
They also have a facebook page with 300,000 followers.

You can also call or email them.

AND, if that is not enough, David Silver Spares in England has many discontinued NOS honda parts (but none for ATV's), and several million dollars worth of concourse restored bikes in his museum.

But wait, there's more! There is a dealer in the US that has a small warehouse full of NOS KAWASAKI parts, including some for....yup, here it comes....The TECATE....The Most Powerful 3 Wheeler In The Universe.
God I just love "saying" that.
Ok...that does it Barns...I'm sending you my cleaning bill.
