    whats a good 350x replacement?

ive been toying with the idea of an upgrade for a long time.more than likely a 4wheeler with eletric start[and some kind of back up],reverse, and pretty good suspension.i like the 400ex,cause of the reliability of the hondas. but no reverse.i love the z400,but even used there kind of expensive.ive been riding a friends polaris250 trailblazer[he left it at my house cause hes on a trip]its actually neat.its like a snowmobile with 4 wheels! easy to ride and operate! but has very little ass behind it.it needs to be a 500 or so.i dont like the banshees[actually i do,but i would rather have a 4 stroke]...whats your take on this??..oh yea,i'll let you guys know IF i sell the 350...

85/86 250r all the way!!!! You will be left wondering why you hadn't bought one a long time ago. These are an awsome step up from a 350x. They are way easier to start they have superior suspension and way more power. You can easily make them go faster if stock doesn't do it for ya. Even if you have to buy a resto project to get a good one it is still worth it. The only 4 wheeler Ever built worth owning in my opinion would have been the TRX 250r but they are way over priced and that extra wheel takes some of the fun out of it in my opinion.

You should test ride a 400 and 500 scrambler. I got my wife a 350L and it has plenty of power and good suspension also. I really enjoy riding it when just out cruising with the kids. It is a little heavy but you get tons of power at a cheap price with the polaris.
I had the RIGHT to remain silent, I didn't have the ability!

If you really want to stick with something reliable go with the honda 300ex I went to honda dealer a few weeks ago and they are going right 3000. I would say the best bang for the buck. electri start and reverse and if you want a little extra power you could do some sipple mods. ANd you know its going to last because its a honda. I would stay away from the 250 polaris trailblazer with my past experince they break way to much. My little brother bought a new 2001 model and he went threw 2 engine rebuilds and a transmission with less than a year. and he didnt even drive it hard. If not the 300ex go with a warrior 350 or the new raptor 350 coming out. there are plenty of other utility quads out there if your wanting something less sporty

dude dont go to a 300ex from a 350x you wont like it at all power wise... yes they are very reliable but you will miss the power... if you are realy stuck on getting a 4 stroke then my recomendation is eather the 400EX, 660 raptor, or maybe a DS but dont get a 300ex ive ridden a bunch of them and they are nuthing compared to a 350X trust me you will hate your self if you went with the 300ex this is just my opinion but i feel strongly about it. 8)

200xmans 350x beats a stock 400ex. his bike wasnt modified to the balls a new top end and an exhaust is all he had. i raced my stock 350x against his stock kfx 400 and he only gained a little on me. i was able to keep up with him in every gear. you need a bigger bike then a 400. i am in the process of building a 350x quad conversion so ill have the best of both worlds good luck in your search

that vforce is huge!its like driving a truck[in my opinion]i wonder why they didnt use a 5 or 6 speed on it?im leaning towards the kfx400[the green z400!]i always liked the kawasaki colors.i had a 89kdx200,it was the best bike i ever owned.rode that thing hard for over 4 years and never ringed it.theres been rumors that some 89-90 kdx's are still going strong and have never been apart, and i believe it...thats quality.but dont know much bout the 4 stroke suzuki/kawi deal in the z/kxf 400

    kfx400,Z400

so far I have not heard of any one having to rebuild them ,With the exception of wanting MORE POWER,UH,UH,UH.But you have to remember it's liquid cooled too ,not air cooled. A friend of mine bought his when they came out and he rides the crap out of it almost every wkend if not every night,It's to cold for that(for me)
The V-force to my friend it is nothing he is 6-5 and around 250-260 meaty boy,He rolled it once already ,only bent the bars and Key,The plastis is like steel on them,If you want a good 400Ex let me know,it need a good home!If you want pic let me know and I will get them.

I just picked up a DS650 Baja X and love it. My buddy has a 04 Raptor and I rode that a few times before I settled on the DS. The DS rides way better, more stable and more power than the rappy. It took me about 2 seconds to get use to the electric start after kicking my 350X for the last 19 years heheh. It has GOBS more power and I haven't even opened it up yet because I just got done breaking it in. Can't wait for the next trip The BAJA X is kinda pricey but for the wide open desert and dunes you can't beat it. Some people might say the banshee is the best or the YFZ450 but I'm 6 foot and 200 lbs and they felt smallish to me.
