DG Tecate Pipe Identification

Hey Guys,

I bought this pipe off ebay. I am getting a refund because nickg said it is a KX250 pipe and not a tecate pipe. Can I get anyone to confirm this? Jeb or 200xbasket?

Tough to tell from the pic, for me anyway. Dont the KX pipes have a shorter stinger section than that?

i do not know what a DG pipe looks like and the pic is crap. if you have received it i would try to mount it before i sent it back. i do have a 86 kx250 pipe if you can get some better pics of that one i will compare them.

he already issued a refund before he sent it. do you have a DG KX250 pipe or other brand?

he said he checked the model number. but i am not sure where he found this model number.

i confirmed it, it is a kx pipe, and yes the stinger is shorter, i tried to fit it on my 86 today as i thought that it was a kxt, but it is not right. sorry mark. i should have looked into it closer before i lised it. I got it with a bunch of other kxt stuff when i bought my 85, he said that they sent the wrong pipe and silencer(silencer is for an 86) so i assumed it was as well and at if i had not checked it, i still would have thought it. i checked it because i have been selling off some other things and did not want to get burned with something not being what it was represented (even to me when i bought it) the aaen pipe i am selling for my trx250r is what prompted me to look into these to verufy the application. i just hated to send it to you and have it be wrong, i deserve the heat i get for it, again i apologize :oops:

its ok nick. i just wanted to make sure it wasnt a kxt pipe.
