We typically only do the 90’s and 110’s we have plenty of spare parts for those. Our next flip will be a Nicholson frame 110 with decent fenders on it. I’ve got a guy close to me that has 3 110’s and a 200 all pretty tuff shape but o e of the 110’s has a turbo style front wheel we want it matches what we have on one of our trikes. Problem is we don’t want all of them just the one. He’s asking 550 for all fair price for sure but said he’s been offered 250 for the one.

Maybe I'm thinking too simply, but why not buy all of them, and just resell the ones you don't care about to recoup the cost? Locking down to a buyer that will only take all of them really limits the possible buyers. Of course don't have pics or anything, so maybe they are in pretty bad shape. I don't really do much with 110's or 200's though, I've targeted mainly 250+.

Heads up there is a gorgeous 350x just listed on Facebook marketplace it's museum type bike. $5000.
Which I don't think you could build it for that.

Yeah I agree with that if I was selling all of those I would definitely sell individually. As far as buying them all, yeah we could of made some money or at least made our money back without having to do anything at all to them. The honest truth is we really didn’t want all these trikes taking up space and then having to list and sell. This last trike we listed on marketplace. Within 4 hours it was sold full asking price. I probably received 30 or so messages about it within 2 hours. I really hate dealing with all that and dealing with fb but honestly it’s the best way to sell something like this.

Yea that 200es is pretty trashed looking, but it having the recoil is pretty crazy with all the other parts robbed off it. I'd say pull the recoil, inspect and check if it works. If not fix it. That's probably $100 and a commonly needed part. I suspect the 200es and 200e recoils are the same but not sure if that's true or not. The real common issue on the 200es's is the front forks always get worn out and are beyond worth fixing, looks like that machine is no exception.

    MrC:

Why aren't you making videos of your flips? Your 200 youtube video got how many views? Lose your camera girl?

Why don't you make videos of your trike flips? Your three wheeler vid had how many thousand views?

I think you have me confused with someone else.
I have only made one video of a cranking issue. Long since deleted it.

This is getting kind of ridiculous, I know you are beginning to think I don't have a 9 to 5 well I do, but I am very much single minded, when I do something it is 110% WOT until I am finished with what ever the task may be.

How bout a big Welcome for "Timbo" 250es Big Red. He runs, He drives, He shifts, He lights up and even stops just fine, but needs some prettying up and some new shoes ( i think that's what the kids call tires), taillights and seat wrap. and off he will go. would be nice to keep him, but he was expensive so, we will see about that.

This is my first 1985 Big Red 250es- that detachable headlight is a bear to get off. the rest seams pretty straight forward.

First night, tear down, straighten the racks, make a parts list and access what needs to be fixed.

I flip these so fast, I never seem to have many at one time, but since my parts are all non-priority shipping, they have slowed me down.
But it does give me a chance to get some nice group shots. The Big Red didn't make to the photo shoot today.

How's the Big Red coming? I am working on one myself. Removing paint and primer and polishing fenders is taking more hours than anticipated, but most stuff does. Keep us posted on the flips.

Details, details, details. Its coming along. I'm waiting on tires and a ignition switch. I sand blast the racks and parts I want to paint, Its not faster, but gives a better more even finish. This one ran already so it's just clean up and pretty work.
I have decided to keep the Big Red. It completes my 3 piece collection. From the beginning I wanted a 250sx, 250es and a 200x. Now I have all 3, I will upgrade them as parts come in on other bikes. But these are mine.
