Feedback about a Mojave?

Hi
I have a lead on an 87 Kawasaki Mojave, for trade with my 85 250SX.
Are Mojave's any good? Are they more performant than my SX?
The one I'm looking for has a rebuilt motor (1500$ CAN in it), but it needs a cam.

What do you think?

I have (but no longer ride..been passed down) a Mojave. It is alright, kind of small for me, but im a large fella (6'4" 315). The suspension isnt the greatest, but probably better than the SX. Power is decent. But remeber the Mojave has 2 cams, so not sure what you would need to replace. And it is a pretty complicated motor, so if somethings goes wrong it might get expensive quick.

They do have hydraulic disks all the way around, so it stops pretty good. Tops out around 55-60 i think?

If it runs good and is in good shape and you want a quad it could be a good trade. But they arent any faster than a blaster, probably about the same at best.
