My big red has been missing the hardware for the front brakes since I've owned it. I found a bundle of parts on ebay that include the swingarm, spring, and the acuator thing? The washer looking piece the bent triangle on it to hook on the spring. I was thinking about buying the parts but the seller also wants 40 bucks for the few parts. Any advice on where else i could look for those parts? I have the splined rod that pushes the brake pads apart but that is it. My second question was if the front brake cable receiver on the front forks is REQUIRED for the front brakes to work properly? I was thinking of trying to fabricate my own receiver since i cant find that piece anywhere. Thank you for any help/advice. This is my first post on this site.
