More maier dull finally gets its day to shine.

I bought these dullies off Mike from long island (Thanks man)
With a little sanding, and plastic renew... they look like new. This is the new color scheme of the 85 also. Black with yellow frame, and chrome everywhere.

I really really want to try this on my dull white plastic I have for my lil x, but I have some questions (as usual). I noticed how nice and smooth your plastic is and mine are not smooth at all, did yours come smooth? Mine have this bumpy effect on em, like spackle on a wall but more uniform of course. If you had this, did you have to sand that down till it was smooth? Or maybe someone else has seen this? Thx Jen

they were not completly smooth.. but they werent like the speckle stuff on walls. I had to still sand on it a while to get it smooth. In person mine doesnt look the best (typical black finish.. almost impossable to get perfect) you can still see some sand marks, but Im not worried about it.
On white and red dull, it does come out pretty good. Sand paper comes with plastic renew... it gives you full instructions on how to use it. I have found on this dull, I put 10 coats on before the steel wool, then followed with another 6-8 coats after steel wool to get a nice shine to her.
