    85 rear fenders on an 84

    If I can put 85 ATC 250R rear fenders on an 84 250R? I've got a guy not too far from me that has a screaming deal on a really nice set of plastics but mine's and 83-84 and he has 85 86 fenders.

    I mean I'm sure it can be done but how easily and will it look okay I'm not really sure the complete difference between the two

    A guy on s.com (back when it used to exist) put 85 rear fenders on his 83/84. He cut the seat pan and foam from the 83/84 and 85/86 in half and joined the back of the 85/86 seat to the front of the 83/84 seat. That way it matched the tank and the rear plastics.
