    2nd Gen 125m Values

Hello all, I’m in the market for a 125cc ATC and see a wide variety of of prices. If I wanted a second gen 125m in clean shape what should I expect to pay? NADA says about $1k but it doesn’t differentiate between the 85’ and 86’ 125m values, both show about $1k in excellent shape. But the two are totally different trikes? Thanks!

prices vary depending on your location and condition of the machine. the few second gens I have seen in my area have all been in decent condition (good rider quality) and price have ranged from 800 to 1500. a first gen 125m isn't worth as much, I can pick one in similar shape for about 400 to 500.
    Currently : trx400fw, ct70, 250es,200x, xl80s, 350x, 350x, Trx250X,ALT185

Dave is spot on in my opinion. Second gen's are harder to find, and the ones i have seen turn up are usually $1k and up, last one i saw was $1600 and it was pretty nice. They just are not as common unfortunately. The first gen are prolific and cheap as chips. I can pick them up for the sub $500 range all the time here, people always want the larger trikes now it seems like.

By the time you posted this it was already in the bed of my truck. It’s not a concours level bike but definitely a survivor! It’s not like me to buy a nice bike, usually I buy basket cases or good cores with rough aesthetics and nurse them back to life but this little guy appears to have been maintained to my standards thus far. Runs great, need to lube the rear brake pedal pivot and that’s all I can find so far. I ordered a low pressure tire gauge this morning to get the tires dialed in. Other than that all it needs is to be ridden!

There must be a post limit to post pics. I’ll put up some pictures ASAP.
