    Package Deal: '84 Honda 200x and '85 Honda 250sx

Found an opportunity to purchase a 1984 Honda 200x and an 1985 Honda 250sx as a package deal for $2500. Here's some details:

200x: Not original plastic, but decent with new decals. Slow leak in the front tire. New chain. Old repair to the gear shift - welded to shaft. Kick starter described by seller as "a little floppy" and doesn't always recoil. Tank is decent but is painted red. Comes with an extra white tank and some other spare parts.

250sx: Original plastic in great shape and really nice original tank. Seller says there may be some touch ups to motor and/or frame. Has seen light usage it's whole life.

I'm aware of some of the issue with the kick starters on the 200x's and that has me a little concerned on this deal. This is another opportunity that is 4 hours aware so I don't want to make the drive for nothin! Let me know what you guys think. I'd love to own both these models. Would like to keep the SX in solid original condition and would want the X to be a reliable rider.

That's not a bad price if they're the in the shape the seller claims. It's hard when it's so far away, just try to get pictures and/or a walk-around video, and decide what you want to do. Good luck.

If you don't want to go into the 200X engine, there's guys on here who will do the work (for a fee of course). If it was mine, I'd probably make it into an AutoX. Either way you go, I think that this would be a good buy. If that SX is in the kind of shape that the seller says it is, it would probably go for $2500 by itself, or close to it.
