There's a drag competition next weekend, and I will probably go there with my SX, because there's a trike class. I want my SX to be more performant, but I don't have a lot of money for mods. What can I do to make it faster??

depends on your tire size, but throw a big red ring and pinion in it, any modifications to the air filter/box or exhaust that will let it breath better (rejet for it) and weight reduction, you might looks like a flammer but take racks off and even head lights and what not. remember, don't completely fill your tank with fuel, it is heavy ya know

hmm, since you cant do gearing, id go for a smaller tire,, a lighter tire to that. k&n, a pipe. thats all i can think of thats kinda cheap

ya, but if your raceing liek a big red or another sx, and its a short distances put small ars tires on the rear,

YOU will lose more time on a bad reaction time than any of the things mentioned,, since its a sx sport trike go and have fun ,,cut a good light and hope for the best,,,,, mainly have FUN,,,,

practice your take off. you dont want to spin or have to let up on the gas because of a wheelie.
reaction time is the most important thing. the difference in speed between the 350x and 250r is nothing compared to the launch. who ever has a better launch wins.

make sure your front tire has plenty of air in it. ive seen many races lost, with 4 wheelers anyway, all because one guy has plenty of air in the tires and one guy has low tires. low tires=more drag. at least when the tires are on the ground.
