brought the 350x's out into the sun.

since I did a bit of work on the red one, it got pushed into the side yard and has been sitting under a tarp, the white one hasn't been started in months either. so this weekend no rain in the forecast, pulled out the chevelle which hasn't been out in a month and brought out the 2 350x trikes. rode them around the cul de sac, down the alleys, bought 2 wheels and tires last week for the red one. Now that it starts right up and rides nice. both are 85s jim

After you get some ride time with the new tires, I will be curious for a ride report comparing the "roundy poundy" tires on the red one vs. the flat profile tires.

How was the upgrade? Any update with regards to the quality of your ride using the new tires?
By the way, I recommend checking 4WheelOnline in case you want more accessories for your trike.

I posted pics of the pair of trikes with the 22in tires on my 350x craigslist ad. I get a call from a guy asking if the white trike is for sale. I'm the 3rd owner the plastics are maier, headlights is the only thing that doesn't work. I didn't plan on selling it, so I said my I don't want to sell it price is 4500 bucks. He wants more pics (gotta move a car and truck to pull it out) so this weekend it's time for a photoshoot. Not sure 4500 is a deal or not. It's just a nice trike that I don't have to sell. I will still have the red 350x. We'll see. jim

Very nice lineup including the Chevelle!
IDK, personally I think the prices/demand will top out soon as our population ages and nostalgia wanes. If a kid can't fix something with their phone they don't want it....and surely it's too much work to kick start AND have to shift gears...eeek! Seems like a decent price and you always have another one. The profit margins are at an all time high right now........so?

I sent the guy more pics and videos, he came back with a lower offer which I passed on. if I planned on flipping the trike originally, I would have left it with the cracked fender and torn seat. But I wanted to make a nice 350x for myself so it got fenders, seat cover, scoops.
The red 350x was picked up in a trade with the thought that its a great basket of parts if the white trike ever needed anything major. I traded 3 guns for the red one so really only have 1000 bucks out of pocket on that one. jim
