    Fork Swap?

Ok I just got a hold of a 1982 200atc, plain 200. Two of them actually. I want to put some suspension on the front. I have done many searches on this forum and found alot of information but I am still a little unsure about some things. I have learned, correct me if I am wrong, that most 200s,200m,200 bigred, and maybe some other forks will bolt to the frame of a 200 act with the exception of the 250R and 200x and 350x. But I have also heard that if you go with this fork you have to go with this tire or this front axle???? My question is I want to know if there is a fork assembly that I can perfectly swap out with the stock solid 82 200 forks. I want to still be able to use my axle and my 12 inch wide tire and and everything. I just want the suspension. Any info from some that has actually done this would be awesome. Thanks alot.[/b]

    Nope

Suspended front forks have a different kind of axle mount. In order to use a set of suspended front forks you will need the axle as well. The 250ES Big Red has a wider front tire then the 200 seires. You may want to look at this as a way to keep the wide front tire. just remember you will need the front forks, axle and hub from the 250ES.
