    Troubleshooting no spark

I have a 200x I picked up recently. The PO told me it had not started in 20 years. I first checked for spark and it had spark, but it was weak. I cleaned up the ground and put in a new plug and had a better spark. After cleaning the carb and tank really well, it started. I ran it for a couple of minutes. Now, I cannot get it restarted. I have no spark. I subbed a different coil, which I was told came off a running bike. Still no spark. I am cleaning the switch, but it looks intact. What would be the next things to check?

Test the coil. It doesn't matter what the previous coil owner told you.

First check all connections and as stated the spark plug.
CDI box , very common for them to go bad after sitting for a while .
They will work for a few minutes and then take a crap when power was put threw them .
Their are parts like capacitors in them that have a shelf life .
