    350x clutches

    Can anyone give me some insight into why my 350x burned up two clutches in two days it's full of oil Valvoline 10/40 wet clutch there's no grooves in the basket everything looks good but dry

    Did you soak the friction plates in oil for at least couple days before you installed them? Takes a long time to get the oil to soak into the plates and they need to be completely soaked to work right

    @ironchop that tip right there was worth the price of admission. I personally have not dealt with a wet clutch before and did not know this!

    Make sure your clutch cable is good and not hanging up inside the jacket not letting the cable relax. 350x clutches are almost bullet proof unless there’s a problem not allowing them to function properly.

    Motion pro makes them for the popular bikes 350x 200x 250rs etc for less than 20$. It’s an automatic when I buy a used bike. Even if yours works this makes it batter.

    Where do you get those?

    I found a full EBC kit for $100 which seemed reasonable, but if I can save $80 that’ll buy a lot of fuel…
