1983 Atc 200 no spark

My 83 200 lost spark one day, and I finally found the problem, or at least I thought I did. I replaced the coil and cdi box, and still nothing. Then I looked at the plug-ins for the coil, noticed that one had the rubber wore off and was hitting the frame, so I thought it was just shorting out the coil. I got a different coil, made sure it wasn't touching the frame, and I had spark for a little bit. Then I lost spark again. I am very lost, some help would be appreciated. Thanks

I'd go through the whole wiring harness and make sure no wires are pulling out of the plugs or connectors. Maybe check your kill switch I once had the wires touching because the wire wasn't mounted good. I'd also check behind the cdi cover on engine to make sure no screws have became loose had that happen on a 200x once.

hey I know it's been a while but I had a no spark issue for a long time. The solution ended up being a OEM CDI unit.

Seriously, no spark with 3 china CDI's, and spark with an old OEM.
