    Another person mentioned this to me too. I dont have a leakdown tester but I think I may need to purchase one

    I know you said you cleaned the carb but did you blow out your pilot jet?

    Yes cleaned twice. Second time ran everything through ultrasonic cleaner and then blew compressed air through everything and reassembled

    I have been having the same issue with my 1984 250r, it's got good spark, fuel and air, replaced the woodruff key, and coil and spark plug, I have around 170 for compression, no smoke from base gasket, I have had the carb out and cleaned multiple times, new gas with proper mixture,checked wiring, but nothing, it ran for a 20 minute ride once after I bought it, then it just wouldn't run longer than a minute, and was hard to start, I feel lost with this thing, any help???
