Start but won’t run

This video shows what happens when it’s starts I went through and cleaned the carb but still runs like and has a high idle and after it starts it usually take like 5-10 more kicks to start again and the pipe gets hot really fast after only running for a couple seconds like two or three times lmk what y’all think and if the video works
Also it’s a 85 bigred

The high idle and the exhaust that gets hot really quickly make me think that it may be running lean. It also sounds like it may be a little on the rattly side so it wouldn't hurt to check valve clearances.

Okay I’ll look at the valves and mess with the mixture screw
