I’ve really been wanting to get a universal gas tank off eBay and put a hole through the air box cover for the gas cap but can’t seem to find a 1 gallon tank. All seem to be 1to 1 1/2 liter tanks. I was looking around my house and found this.



The only reason I want to do this is for quicker starts when it sits. It’s fine if I start it every day. I’m just brainstorming and most likely not going to cut the cover. I have a junk cover I can cut if I want to try it. Really the only thing stopping me is the cap neck doesn’t sit very high off the tank. Anyone make their own with junk in the yard?
