If you have a typical cell phone, you already have all you need.
Buy a phone mount and install an app.
Quad Lock is a good choice. I've got experience with those and they're more reliable than many out there, while also being easy to use.
Buy a mount and vibration isolator and you're set. They have wireless chargers, but using them with the vibration isolator isn't ideal if your phone is large and heavy, but it's better than other options. Since you already have a trike with a battery, some simple wiring is all that's needed, wireless or wired. Or, just make sure the phone is completely charged and will last the day and don't worry about wiring, just the mount.

If you don't want to do any wiring and the phone is power hungry, you can carry a power bank and charge the phone off of that.
Myself, I like a dedicated unit and TrailTech makes really good ones. You''ll need to do more involved wiring, but it's always there and they're very durable. You'll also have to make a mount because the generic handlebar mount they come with isn't very robust.
Walking, running, cycling, kayaking, ATV, motorcycle, and activities like that are more than covered with a phone, you just need to mount the phone securely and keep weather in mind. The TrailTech units aren't affected by weather.
