    85 Honda 200x kickstart

Hey, I just recently picked up an 85 200x. When I try to kick it, the kicker slips really bad. Is that something super concerning? Is that a difficult fix? Any information and help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time.

That is a common problem. There is a spring and a washer that goes internal to fix the issue. Look here for more info:

Thanks for the input. I went ahead and ordered another assembly, and it’s supposed to be here in the next few days. If you’d be willing to do it, I’d love to send it your way when I get it in the mail. I want to make sure the issue is fixed before I spend the time putting it back together. Thanks for all the help.

Yes I can do it. Its a process but its a sweet one. Will look like this when done. I use to offer the service on ebay and got to much biz. It takes me about 2 hours. Do i make much money...nope. I make more at my real job then side job. But low labor rate side work keeps guys returning.

Do you have another way that you’d prefer me contact you? If not, I’ll just shoot you a message on here when I get the part and am ready to send it your way. Thanks for offering to take the time to do it.
