    250es cylinder removal

Do I need to pull the engine to get the cylinder out ?

I know I can sneak the head out , but will the cylinder slide up and out too?

I’m wondering in the chain guide will stop me or something ,do I need to get a stud remover to pull the studs out to un pin it from there to clear the frame ?

Im a mechanic, not a problem with the work or any improving just never done this one before ,thanks .

Also shes getting a 10:5-1 piston on a std. bore should I leave the jetting alone to start has a 135 main now.

Top end can be done without removing the engine just takes a little finagling .
The higher compression piston probably won’t affect the jetting, but to be sure just do a plug chop .

I can't answer your question, but can comment on removing the studs if you need to do that: you don't need to buy a tool to remove them, just take two hex nuts that thread on there and snug them against one another, then use the lower nut to back the stud out.
