Couldnt someone that has a pair take em to a plastic shop or something to get them duplicated? then they could sell em to us. just wondering cause i would love some white ones for my X.

where did you get thoes blue fork boots? did they have them in red?

The blue boots are 86 OEM Honda 350X boots. The red ones were on the other bike when I bought it.

Since 350Xs have leading axle forks like every other dirt bike ever invented, why not try buying a set of XR or CR conventional fork disc/fork guards from Maier or Acerbis if they still have them and see how good they will work?????????

Would be allot cheaper than having molds built.

I am always surprised by these posts. James Lucky lists them in their catalog by Maier. I guess they are not as super rare as everyone thinks. I should buy a few for the $25 and put them on ebay, make a killing.

they are pretty rare to find new. they are discontinued and chapparal, dennis kirk, rocky mountain atv, james lucky, among others dont have anymore. i have contacted them all. i was lucky enough to find a set for each of my sport trikes.

a lot of people didnt take them out of their catalogs. i just emailed james lucky today.

Their is a brand new yellow set for a tri-z on ebay right now.

But triztunes is bidding on them so you have to have some $$$$ to outbid him.

www.throttlehead.com listed them too, they also advertised a sale on white maier 250r radiator shrouds $14, they called and said it was a mistake and wouldn't honor it, the fork/disc gaurds should have been taken off years ago, just because they didn't honor there mistaken price I cancelled the whole order. I am told they are discontinued by maier and ufo, as are the number plates and such. I have a set of red 200x guards for a mold. I won't put them on becaue they seem pretty flimsy. Anybody have a number plate for a 250r for sale?

Plastic parts are cheap to make if your molding hundreds, thousands or millions. The molds to make them with ARE NOT.

Even for cheap vacuum formed parts your looking at hundreds of dollars and a minimum number of parts you can buy. Lower the number, the higher the cost per part.
