    Tri-Z Gearbox Problem

    Hi there,

Got an 1985 Tri Z 250. doesnt run, cleaned the carb cleaned gastank, air nox, new filter, new spark plug, engine starts idles perfet, at first i cant it in gear because the gear selecter rod were broken, i replaced that and put in new gear box oil, so i can shift all gears but if i release the clutch lever it doesnt start driving, so clutch looks good, oil is new, i tried different setting at the clutch pressure srew as well as the adjuster at the clutch cable. clutch cable is also not broken.

Some ideas what could be the issue here ???

    THANKS

Remove the oil filler plug and look inside with a flashlight while you or a friend is pulling the clutch lever in and releasing it. Can’t you see the clutch plates opening and closing?
    It sucks to get old
