    Front fork upgrade.

I’ve got an 82 200 with solid forks and have an 84 parts bike that has a really nice set of forks with the shocks on it. Anyhow knowing the front tire is a different size, on each model.. chi had thought about trying to put the larger tire on the S model forks. If not I can certainly buy a new tire for the S model rim. Does anyone have any pics of a smaller front tire with larger rears to show what they look like? Also is the S model front rim the same size as the 82 200 with the larger tire?

The 200s uses 22x11x8 tires. I think the 200 (no letter) uses 25x12x9 tires.
You could use the 200s front forks with a 22x11x8 front tire and then use 22x11x9 tires on the rear with your stock rims.
Or run it with the different height tires from front to back.
I would not try to use a 25x12x9 with the 200s forks.
I do not think those will be wide enough or tall enough.
Put your butt on the inside fender or end up on the ground!

I wonder if the shorter front tire would be THAT noticeable? I wasn’t sure if I could use the same rim or not.. I have both 200s rims and the regular 200 rims. The 200 right now is at a different location so I’ll have to wait to measure when it gets back. Thanks for your reply!
