200M Clutch Slipping

Hey all,

My 200m is starting to slip when I am accelerating and shift into 5th gear. I adjusted the adjuster on the right side case cover by the oil dip stick but it made no difference. I backed the screw out until there was tension then screwed clockwise 1/4 turn. I do have a manual.

I see there are some aftermarket companies still selling plates and friction plates, but I am having trouble finding what I need for the centrifugal parts. Are the shoes (#5) the only parts I need to replace in the centrifugal clutch and where is a place to get them in good quality?

Easy fix.....don't accelerate and shift into 5th.

Things have been good. The 250R and 350 are ready for Little Sahara next month. The 350 got new plastic for this trip. How have you been?

It has been a long time since Ive posted here. It is very cumbersome trying to post photos. There must be a size (quality) limit that is set very low because I took 20 pics and the only way I could upload any was by greatly reducing the quality using screenshot of the original image. That has to be very discouraging for new people trying to post since all modern phones take high quality photos.

Life's been busy, good but busy. Moving to florida wrapping up loose ends here... almost ready to take the full plunge.
A few years ago the site was "updated" and loading pics here just got near impossible so folks moved on... probably easier to load pics on fakebook- i wouldnt know though.
I'm predicting the end of this site is nearing its end sadly.

The warm part... a bit west of orlando out of the touristy area, Croom atv park isn't too far away going to have to check it out when things settle. Half my "stuff" is already there its crazy how much crapp u gather over the years. Getting out of MA so when i do have grand kids (someday) they wont be in a democratic school system. This state is nutz literally.

Ive got a brother in MA. All I know about it is he likes the health care.
Ive heard of Croom but never been. The last place I rode in FL was the sand lot in Punta Gorda right before it closed for the last time. It was a great park with a killer MX track. That track was borderline too much for a quad. Big jumps that were not forgiving.

Oh, and a group of us like to ride durhamtown every year or two in the spring. It would still be a haul for you but closer than you were in MA and its a great park with lots of different riding.

Sadly i have got 12 weeks of jobs i need to finish, but have officially stopped taking on "new" work in MA. Two small additions to complete.
Work in MA has been so busy its hard to say no but its nice to pick and choose what to do.
Florida is going to be like starting over but if i dont do it now i never will....

If anyone turns up this thread in a future search...

EBC still makes a shoe kit. It can be found on ebay but they do not use the Honda part numbers in the listing so it can not be found that way.
