    that is the take-off clutch or centrifical clutch. if its slipping in the upper gears, than its the friction disc and plates that need changing, also the tension coil springs get.
    still an easy fix, EBC makes a good kit that includes the plates/disc and springs for less than $100

    Thanks. So if the clutch is slipping in low gear that would indicate the centrifugal clutch?

    Also, I ordered the oring and gasket for the centrifugal clutch. The gasket is listed as 'oil filter gasket', but there is no oil filter, right? Part #2
