So, I've been looking for a while now. If you read my intro post you see where I'm coming from, but I noticed the proliferation of overpriced machines as well as junk machines. And a select few that are both junk AND overpriced.

Well, I think I found one that is priced fairly for its condition, and the seller has disclosed the issues, and seems communicative. I am arranging shipping now as I don't have time to run to NJ and grab it. It's far from perfect but I'm not terribly concerned with that. He has disclosed it smokes but is also including another cylinder and piston (that didn't smoke according to him).

Besides that, I see the parking brake has been deleted (I want that working), and skid plates are gone (need those too), aftermarket plastics, which is fine as a re-learn how to fall off this thing (the usual stuff really). I would like a nice set of original plastics, to install for show, and use the Maier ones for go.

I would like to pick the brain trust here on the 350X (this is a 1996 model) to see if there are key questions I need to ask before I close the deal, or missing items that are simply impossible to replace. I'm pretty good at finding stuff, but in this game it's who you know, and I am currently an outsider with no one really inviting me "in" as of yet.

I am not seeking a concourse restoration on this trike, as I want to ride the thing, but I do appreciate a machine being "correct" rather than modified. And everything should work at least...
