    2004 Bombardier Elite

So here’s the deal. I picked this thing up from the widow of a late friend of mine who offered it to her son in law but didn’t want it. Surprisingly enough Ive never owned a snow machine which is probably hard to believe living in northern Canada. It hasn’t ran in im guessing about 18 years and she’s pretty vague on why it was sitting so long. She thinks it runs fine but doesn’t move. The tracks rolled fine when I winched it into the trailer with no funky noise heard. I haven’t paid a dime for it until I figure out what it needs and if the parts are even available. I’m going to scope the cylinders today to make sure there’s no mouse damage in there. It’s got a few whiskey dents and some bubba repairs but I think it’s overall in good condition cosmetically. It even has a cover which for some reason they never put on while it was stored in an unheated shop. Ill keep my progress posted as I try to figure out what Im facing.

Thats really kinda cool. Engine size? I dont think i'd want to up-right it if it rolled over on its side though, but maybe it's lighter than it looks. Looks like it has a trailer hitch too... I like it

1500cc Rotax Seadoo engine. Pretty rare rig from what I understand. Yes they are ~1100lbs dry weight so…..ya, don’t get it stuck. Going to be a straight trail rider once running.

    That thing is cool.

Looks like an aborted shuttle design from Star Trek or something.

Just add a couple rocket launchers and you’re set!

Looks like the hunt is on for whatever the missing electrical components are? I asked to snoop around the ladies shop in hopes of finding something even if it’s broken to reference from. I think it’s a connection block that a fuse panel attached too. Really hoping to bump into a Elite “guru” that can shed some light on this issue.
