I had an 81 for along time , first car, ended up selling it and have regretted it ever since. Haven’t been to razor in a while , hoping to make a trip this year. My little one started wrestling last year and I coach , plus my older two play club and school soccer. Last trip was to ocotillo but we’re hoping for thanksgiving and maybe new years at razor.

    Muffler is here!

I was going to blast and paint it, but I think I’ll skip the blast. This thing is NICE!

    Quick question:

The O-Rings called out in the parts fiche… we have cross section and either ID or OD. Do we know which it is?

For example: 54 X 2.4 is 2.4mm cross section but is is 54 ID or 54 OD?

I may have found something to rejuvenate the tool box. We’ll see how it looks in the morning.

These wheels are junk but they’ll make decent rider grade wheels when I’m done.

Still have my eyes open for nicer rears in the meantime.

Any tricks to holding rotating seat pan studs while removing the nuts? I have some ideas but figured I’d ask and see if there’s a better way.

Can anyone confirm the 17631-VM5-300 gasket (for the 87 TRX200) will fit/work on the 86 350X fuel filler cap? The gasket is not listed separately for the 350X...

Worst case I make a die to cut them myself and offer for sale, but if this will work it's a lot easier!

Please put me down for a gasket when/if you make some.

    Thanks!

The cap issue is, finding a way to open it up to replace gasket without destroying the cap itself. Honda designed it in a way that does make it difficult. Easiest way so far is just to find a better condition cap.

Sounds like I need to design and make the tools to take the cap apart and let you focus on the gaskets.

Then I could offer refurbishment service…

I’ve cleaned the polish remnants off the wheels, but I didn’t get them cleared. I guess Monday I’ll do that.

Once dry, I can mask off the polished areas and then glass bead blast the cast centers. Those should look brand new.
