200x engine build.

So my 200x I’m resto modding smokes like a 2 stroke. So we are rebuilding tomorrow. Since I’m not a restoration guy this is my parts list.
67mm 10-1 wiseco (205cc)
Xr200 camshaft
Xr200 26mm carb
Custom header from HRE
Lexx atv muffler for a TRX450R
3 angle valve job with new shindy valves
Air box lid removal with UNI filter

Any suggestions ? Things I should know before I take this thing apart ?
Also for you guys that have built a bunch of 200x motors , these made 18HP stock , what’s the estimate ? Will I break 20?
Wanted a reliable easy starting engine as it’s for my son. He’s 11 , almost 12. Big kid , nationally ranked youth wrestler strong like a monkey, but still young and full of that savage “I wanna go fast” taladega nights energy.

Run , revs , smoked a little on start up , to be expected right ? Coated everything in oil. Seems real lean. I put the 26mm carb but only had factory jets (what was in it 108 and a 40 pilot) any 200x guys info ? I’m thinking of buying a 112 /110 and a 42 /45 and starting fat and working my way down. Also my hre exhaust isn’t in yet.
