last year, kids are done riding (basketball, softball, baseball etc) taking up.their every minute so they sold the adult toys and the kids toys. I decided why not get rid of my toys too, sold off 3 200x and a 185s. Kept 2 185s just because I like having a trike or two around.
so its been a bit and I still keep a eye on deals and this 84 popped up on marketplace this afternoon and I had to reach out and ended up getting it. starts right up, pretty complete, tanks dented, aftermarket plastics, shocks aren't blown,
over all pretty complete, which is the way I like them. This one was the first complete trike lately listed for a decent price, maybe because its close to Christmas, nobody was interested. jim

got paperwork done for a bonded title this afternoon, go back to dmv tomorrow and get the title and plate and its officially mine.
pretty bad when you walk into the dmv and 2 of the clerks recognize you as the guy titling 3 wheelers

Also, didn't the 1984 200X come with a black seat and black fork boots, along with a red and yellow (no blue) wing logo on the tank? Or did they make some late '84 models to look like the '85 with a blue seat, blue fork boots, and the wing logo in red/white/blue?
im thinking some previous owner replaced all those parts, maybe because they preferred it? the guy i got it from didnt do it, he picked it up in trade. Im pretty sure the plastics not maier, im thinking its the cheaper plastics. aside from the dents in the tank, im really happy with it.

and to finish it off, ordered a pair of grips and caps. a rear fender decal. tanks got some dents but thats it
found a cracked mount on tje rear master cylinder and some aftermarket resources, ordered a new MC and reservoir for it.
Kicked it over and verified it have all 5 gears. jim
