Lightbulb Tri-Z Astro Conversion Track rod ends

    Hey Guys!

I know this may cause some hurt to others being its now a 4 wheeler.. But its just what happened to be in the shed from dads younger days.

Got the thing running in no time and was having a blast, but the ancient Track rod ends have given up and snapped on one side leaving it unusable.

Would any of you old timers happen to know what tie rod ends I will need to get? Heard VW beetle etc.. being thrown about but cant find any in the spec I have.

Got an intact (But bent) one taken off and these are the specs:

    Length: 110mm +/-
    Thread (Into Arm): M12
    Thread (Hub side): M10
Cone size (Tapered): 12mm down to 10.8mm +/

Any Info would be appreciated! Cheers from Ireland

This is from memory from atleast 20yrs ago, but i believe all 3x4 astro conversion kits used suzuki 230 quad tie rods. I'd start there. If u think about why suzuki it was probably the cheapest back then for astro im betting. I have an astro ad here somewhere if i can find it and if it has that info i'll be back.

Cheers Shep! Let me know if you find it, struggling to find any similar looking 230 rods even.. these old dogs aren't worth crashing I know that now. Might end up drilling and tapping the A Arms out to an M16, seems to be loads of these about with very close specs but ill keep the search on for now.
