The toy market is correcting in general, I'm seeing it in trucks and motorcycles just as much as vintage ATVs. The covid era and "stimulus" money really upset the apple cart over the last few years but I think the cost of living is really getting to folks now, I know it has been for me. Trikes were free to cheap till 2019 or so, I remember trying to buy a pretty decent 200S off my buddy but we couldn't make a deal because he wanted a whole $300 for it and I wasn't paying more than 200 bucks. People around here were literally giving them away at that time though, same friend has at least 2 more 185/200s that he got for whatever it cost him in time and fuel to go pick them up. The people we've seen the past few years riding the wave of high prices are getting a reality check, pretty hard. Go look at what the ATVs did at Barret Jackson last month tricked out ATC70s were selling for less than it would cost me to build one, nice FL400 Pilot went for half what it would've last year.
The fun money is gone for a lot of folks. I've been watching machines just sit on marketplace for months because guys paid too much for them when the market was hot and won't take a realistic price now. I just sold my Tecate 4 that I paid too much for in 2022, it took me 6 months to find a buyer and I had to come off what i thought was a reasonable price to get it gone. If i had held out much longer I'd be stuck with the thing because I could only stand to lose so much $$$ selling it. I had almost zero interest in it locally, it ended up selling to a buyer in Wisconsin.

A few years ago when I would log on to this site there would be 60 or even close to 100 others logged on, now most of the time its just me or maybe 2 others at the same time. I think the junk ATC's are still selling only because there is a demand for
parts to keep what people already own running, but I don't think there is many "new" trike people getting into the sport.
Yamaha still makes the YFZ450, Raptor 700 and a couple kids quads but they are it for sport machines now. Side by sides took everyone else out of that market.
