    I picked up an 83/84 250R….or did I?

I spotted this ‘interesting’ 83-84 250R on Marketplace and immediately picked it up at midnight last night for $400. There’s something unique about it, you win an e-cookie if you can identify it too

    Interesting for sure…nice score!
Use to go visit friends in Talkeetna all the time when I lived up there. Would always go right through Willow.
I wonder if that trike ever made it up Hatcher Pass? Haha Rolled my sled up there!

The kicker is on the left side.
As was previously mentioned it could be a CR480 engine.
If the engine has a 4 speed gear box it is a 1982 engine.
If the engine has a 5 speed gear box it is a 1983 engine.
Put your butt on the inside fender or end up on the ground!

82’ 4speed you can tell right above the oil fill cap. Kinda blurry but I’m pretty sure of that.
What about those rear tires? I’m curious how they worked out.

Rear tires are weird. Possibly US90 tires? I haven’t got a chance to look it over real well, but they don’t appear to be Argo tires.
