Got the holeshot
just bought a fairly complete 87 250x with a 85 350x motor and headlights.
i
only reason I bought it was I needed the motor and headlights for my 350x with a mystery 400ex motor in it.
So is there any value to a rolling 250x quad? tank has surface rust inside, doesnt look like ot rusted through. seats torn, has rear plastics probably cracked rider quality. im pulling the rear tires, front mc is bad, rear brakes work. is it something to take to the scrap yard? thanks. jim

pic of the quad, sad thing is this only needs a fuel line and front brake master cylinder and its a functioning rideable quad.
But being a 3 wheeler forum, most will understand this is getting the motor yanked as soon as I get the bonded title done on the 350x
I did go and get the title transfered on the quad. Shame Im not in love with it. jim

Might be worth keeping it for parts. The rear brake hub can be used on your 350x, if it’s in good shape. Maybe other stuff you’ll discover that’s needed.

thanks, if the wheel hubs swaps, ill grab those too. few years back I grabbed a beat up 350d for the engine top end
.stripped it of lots of nuts and bolts, wiring, throttle etc before we scrapped what was left. jim
