    Motor and shipping question Need your help?

    I got my 250sx motor removed. I tried to weigh it and it seems to weigh 110 LBS is that possible? I removed the starter. But left the kickstarter and shifter. Also I drained the oil. I called UPS and to ship from Connecticut to Indiana it will be around $100-120. Are there any other shipping companies that other people have used? TIA.

    If you break it down and keep both packages under 70 lbs it will be a LOT cheaper. Costs skyrocket for each pound over 70.

    How do you suggest breaking it down? Remove the top end?

    yeah i would remove the top end
    looking for a TRI-Z 250 to restore at the moment
