need either a complete rebuild or new caliper- I can't find a kit and calatv has a 85 and a cheaper 86. I did not think there was a difference.

The 85 and 86 250r rear calipers are the same except for the mounting bracket. You will need the bracket that matches the year of the swingarm you have.
If I can't fix it, it ain't broke!!
