I would like to see what a cobra looks like on a 185. does it come out to the right below the fender, or through the middle like stock???????

The fit is horrible, it sticks out the back (past the grabbar) six inches. The pipe is also out of the frame (like most sporty 3&4 wheelers). I had hoped on it being in the frame, so that is what mine is going to be. I have already cut the head-pipe down about 4 inches and still have to cut the silencer in front of the megaphone and turn it about 1/4 turn counter clockwise to get it straight in the frame. I will then make a bracket for it and cut the one from Cobra off, beadblast it, paint it, and be done with this project. I will get some pics up as soon as I can. Kaysen Sorry for not having any before pics.

yeah i put a cobra quiet series on my 185s 1982... i'll tell you what i did: I didnt like it sitting on the outside of the bike becuase it looked retarded, and im 13 so i got away with it, and sticking out past the grab bar?? bullshiz. so i cut maybe 3 or 4 inches off the head pipe right past the first bend, i took the bracket bent one end of it 90 degrees and mounted it through an air filter bolt... pics to come soon.
