The motors that will fit are:
1980 185
1981-1983 185s
1981-1983 200
1982-1983 200e ( Big Red )
1984-1985 200m
1984-1986 200s
The 200es will not work because of the shaft drive set up.

i was told that a 200x motor will fit in my 85 200s frame soif they were telling the truth wont the 200x motor fit in the frame of your 200m

I have been told this also. I didn't include the 200x in my list because I have not tried it to be 100% sure.
Hopefully someone else here has and can give us all a update.

I do know these fit:
1980 185
1981-1983 185s
1981-1983 200
1984-1986 200s
The 200e and 200m won't because the electric starter gets in the way of the frame. At least I am 80% sure of it.

LOL, I hope he does know. How ever I don't think he has tried it either. He isn't a Honda fan by any means.
The key word here is "Can". Anything can be made to fit with modifications.
If your wanting to know if the 250r motor will bolt right in a 200x frame, then the answer is "No". There are Major differences in the motors and the way they mount.

Howdy, For a guy that doesn't really like Hondas. Tim sure was anxious to have a Honda 350x that I finished the race with pull him off the track and out of the mud. Maybe he changed his mind and got a little smarter that day. LOL I have pics of it coming also to taunt him with.
