    1968 Chevelle SS 396 (PICS)

Here are some pics of our 1968 Chevelle SS 396. It has a brand new paint job  (PPG VIPER RED) and all the panels were smoothed and patch panels welded in where needed. The rear quarters, and the outer wheel houses are all fresh, new steel. Here are some pics I took of it.

This might sound like a stupid ?.But are thoose doors off a 69?I think the 68 had wing windows in them. The car looks real nice though. My step dad had a real nice 69 malibu with a small block, and he had the 69 elcamino to match it.They were the same color and both had 355ci motors with 350 turbo trans, and they had ss hoods, wheels ,and emblems. He don't keep any of his toys very long, maybe 2 years then he sells them and buys another project. He has a 31 ford coupe and a 78 vette now.Must be nice to have all that $$$ for nice rides like them.

No, the doors are original 1968 doors. The windows and window trim is not on the car in the pictures because it was stripped down in order to paint.
