The E-Tons have an odd size thread for the main, and I wasnt able to find different sizes, so I had to drill them. I took jets of the sizes I wanted that wouldnt thread in, to the hardware store and used the jets to reference drill bit sizes.
If your working with normal jets though, its a lot easier to jet buy a few of them at $3-$5 each, and that way youve got soem on hand that are correctly marked.
I just bought a bunch of jets today, only $3 each. I buy my jets at the local Polaris dealer they keep them in stock. Honda always has to order.
I had the RIGHT to remain silent, I didn't have the ability!
If I could have gone to Honda and just bought them for 3$ to 5$ I would have. But of course they don't have them.
If you racing you will need a bunch of different jets anyhow.
Problem is when you've done mods and you have no idea where to start you may have to buy 5 or more jets before you get it right. This is not good for us starving broke discount ATC fanatics.
I called Keihin and thats what they advised me to do - use a number drill index and go up on drill size at a time until you get it right. Sounds like a real pain to me.
However I found that in my case - a 138 350X main jet in an SX body worked just great with the airbox lid off and a Cobra exhaust.
All our government does is distract us while they steal from us, misspend our tax $ and ruin our country
