I have a bored out 250r!!!! need help and opinion Plz Look!

i got a honda 1984 250r with a 300 kit in it andwas wondering in a couple years i will have to do a overhaul and was wondering should i get a stcok just and pistion and convert it back to a 250? will i notice a big difference? and also it has a 40mm carb on it will i have to change it out for a diffrent one? :? i never rode a 84' stock before so i don't know how they fel and the power difference so any help would be appreciated :-D

Well, you're the first person I know who wanted to go down in engine size except for the racers who had to qualify for a particular class. If it was me, I would stick to the 300...more power=more fun But if you wanted to restore it back to factory go with the 250, its your call but I would imagine there would be a big decrease in power.
