I'm currently running Maxima 927 two stroke oil @ 42:1 in my two Tecate's. This stuff is kinda expensive and I've been thinking about changing oil. What is a good oil to switch too? Or should I just continue using the 927? Is Golden Spectro any good? Also, is 42:1 a good ratio?

I use Klotz R50 synthetic oil mixed at 50:1. I love it, it smells good and my Z runs awsome.

I'm using the AmsOil 2000 series racing oil, but it's about $33 a gallon around here. Or the regular AmsOil works fine too which is about $20 a gallon. Both are synthetic

Back when those stickers were put there 22 yrs ago +/- oil wasn't as good as they are now :-D
PS. Run AMSoil and don't look back. I did 2 yrs ago!

Right now Im running Klotz Benol at 32:1 in the T3. Nitekrawler Im really interested in this Amsoil stuff. What other kinds of oil have you used and how does Amsoil compare to them?

Golden Spectro - $5.99 for 12oz - Smokes a little (ran it back 12 yrs ago)
Caster oil - Don't remember price. Smokes a lot and smells good :-D

AMSoil was the first in Synthetics since 1970's. BEFORE mobil 1 even. Then I did some research online and found EVERYTIME AMSoil beat all them in all areas. So, 2 yrs ago I switched and never looked back. I have had no problems at all, and the smoke is very little. Hope this helps 8)

I run Synergyn TCW3andmix32:1 with 93 octane pump fuel.I have never had a problem with it.Oh yea, the premix is synthetic
