    I got bored one day.....

and decided to disassemble my 86 350X. Being that I have no experience in doing this, what should I be careful of???? Are there cetain things that need to be checked while I'm down to engine and frame???? I will be attempting to put new Barnett fiber and steel clutch plates in it sometime next week. Any advice on what I should do would be greatly appreciated because I am just wrenching in the dark.
    Thanks
    Ted

Not sure about the steel plates but the fiber ones need to be soaked in oil over night or they will be slipping in no time. I learned this the hard way.

the best advise i can give you is go to the honda dealer and buy a 350X service manual. they are less than $40 and can save you much $$$.
